Our Client, a leader in their industry, is looking for a help desk technician in its East Bay location for a long-term contract position. The successful candidate will primarily troubleshoot and manage level one IT support issues for internal employees.
- Provide professional, courteous, and friendly level one IT support
- Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of IT issues regarding hardware, software and networking issues
- Respond to help desk issues via a ticketing system, walk-up requests, and phone reach outs
- Escalate IT issues as need be
- Assist with the on-boarding of new employees
- Computer related degree preferred but not required
- 2 years of experience in an help desk role
- First rate customer service skills
- Knowledge of Windows operating system, desktop applications, PC and printer hardware
- Friendly personality with a can do attitude
- Excellent follow up skills
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
