Job Description

Our client, a cloud based platform, is looking for a data analyst that understands Customer Segmentation to join their team. This person will play a crucial role in understanding customer behavior and segmentation to drive targeted marketing strategies. You will also be the liaison between post purchase marketing and the automation team to help create a solution to automate a manual process of the data. . For the right candidate this is a remote contract opportunity.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee manual data pulls and analysis processes, utilizing tools like Excel and Adobe Experience Platform to extract, analyze, and interpret data.
  • Develop target lists based on journey criteria and customer data, ensuring accuracy and relevance for marketing campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual data processes and work closely with automation teams to implement efficient solutions.
  • Analyze purchase data, usage patterns, and customer behavior to assess onboarding, deployment, and usage levels, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Serve as a liaison between the data platform and operations team, facilitating communication and collaboration to streamline data processes and resolve issues.
  • Conduct thorough data validation and quality assurance checks to ensure data integrity and cleanliness, addressing any discrepancies or missing information.
  • Drive outcomes by establishing clear timelines, milestones, and roadmaps for data-related initiatives, and proactively communicate progress and roadblocks to stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of data-related challenges and actively seek solutions to unblock roadblocks, demonstrating a proactive and outcome-oriented approach.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years working in a data and business analysis role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration is preferred.
  • Strong background in data analysis and business analysis, with experience in utilizing customer segmentation techniques to drive marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis of excel.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset, capable of identifying patterns, trends, and opportunities within data.
