Job Description
Our client, an innovative network solution company, is looking for a Lab/System Administrator who will primarily focus on managing the client s lab environments and providing support for the development, operations, and network teams. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in network administration, datacenter management, linux administration, and infrastructure management. This is a contract opportunity with a hybrid schedule of 3 days (minimum) onsite in their Sunnyvale, CA office.

Responsibilities:
- Perform network administration tasks including switching, routing, and ensuring optimal network performance.
- Manage datacenter operations including rack and stack, cabling, hardware management, and overall lab management.
- Administer Linux servers and automate tasks to streamline operations.
- Manage infrastructure components such as DNS, CMDB, and other critical systems.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and network teams to support their needs and ensure smooth operations.
- Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to the lab environment.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in lab or system administration roles, preferably in a cloud-native environment.
- Strong proficiency in network administration, including switching and routing.
- Experience with datacenter management tasks such as rack and stack, cabling, and hardware management.
- Proficiency in Linux server administration and automation tools.
- Experience with infrastructure management tools and concepts.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud technologies
Expected hourly pay range
- $45 - $60 per hour
