Solutions Architect (Pre/Post Sales)

Our Client an SF- Peninsula-based start up, has hired Vivo to help in its search for a Solutions Architect for its fast-growing customer base. The successful candidate will have an excellent track record of transforming technical requirements into well-thought-out solution recommendations, based on customer needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, write and review Technical Requirement Documents and come up with well-thought of technical project specifications, environment needs, and expectations based on TOGAF and architectural best practices
  • Review and execute SOW s
  • Define and maintain technical implementation documentation, process workflow diagrams, user stories and technical mockups
  • Demo solutions (client-facing) and support sales teams in answering technical questions for external kickoffs
  • Plan deployments environment with performance optimization and scalability in mind
  • Coordinate with Implementation Managers and Solution Developers to maintain project schedule, and mitigate any delays by accurately providing time and effort estimates

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s Degree
  • Experience solutioning SaaS in a professional services / client-facing capacity
  • Experience defining API specifications, technical workflows and high level solution architectures
  • Ability to design complex solutions, with strong experience developing solutions in JavaScript and a strong understanding of JSON, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Proficient understanding of GIT and code versioning
  • Strong UML skills
  • Experience working with JIRA, Confluence or other ticketing and project management systems
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Good technical knowledge of different Enterprise applications, integration, workflows, databases, etc.
  • Ability to solve complex problems by applying creativity, innovation, and technical concepts.
  • Strong self-organization, time management and prioritization skills
  • A high level of attention to detail, excellent follow through, and reliability
  • Experience engaging with people across a variety of levels with diverse backgrounds
  • Experience with client services, project management, and solution delivery in an Agile environment
Nice to Have:
  • Understanding of telecom use cases is a plus
  • Experience customizing Saas Solutions
