Job Description
Our client, in the autonomous driving vehicle space is looking for a Cybersecurity Technical Writer who can adeptly simplify intricate cybersecurity concepts into accessible guides and manuals for both internal and external audiences. This is a fully remote, contract opportunity.

Responsibilities:
- Gather data, craft reports, and refine our information security materials, including Policies, Standards, Technical Implementation Guidelines and Job aids
- Analyze and offer recommendations to address information gaps for end users.
- Review and update existing content and documentation to ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders to gather pertinent input for the company's documentation.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing, product documentation, or online publishing.
- Strong background and hands-on experience in cyber governance, risk, and compliance, including a track record of authoring information security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Prior experience in cyber and information security practices, policies, standards, and procedures, encompassing knowledge of frameworks like SOC 2, NIST SP 800-53, NIST CSF, etc.
- Experience in cybersecurity operations, risk assessment, and controls identification.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to collaborate with information security and business leaders to author, promote, and publish cyber and information security policies and standards.
