Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud Analyst to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SFMC-based digital engagement strategies. This role works closely with marketing, product, and technical teams to create scalable, personalized campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools and features. This is a hybrid, contract opportunity, with the expectation of 3 days a week at their Foster City, CA office. Responsibilities
Gather business requirements and translate campaign goals into Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions.
Design and implement end-to-end customer engagement strategies using SFMC modules (Email, SMS, MobilePush, Mobile SDK, Journey Builder, Automation Studio).
Build personalization strategies with dynamic content, data extensions, and behavioral triggers.
Oversee integrations with upstream systems and guide developers on configuration and automation.
Manage testing, UAT, and campaign go-live processes.
Lead implementation of new channels and features (SMS, push notifications, dashboards).
Monitor campaign performance and create dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with privacy and security standards and maintain documentation for governance.
Requirements
10+ years in CRM or marketing technology, with strong Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience.
5+ years working directly with SFMC (Journey Builder, Contact Builder, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio, etc.).
Knowledge of Salesforce ecosystem integrations (Service Cloud, CDP/Data Cloud, MuleSoft).
Skilled in gathering requirements, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
Hands-on experience with campaign testing, QA, and optimization.
Strong analytical skills to interpret campaign data and improve engagement.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant or Administrator certification preferred.
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
